About Bill Dimm
I completed my B.S. in engineering physics at Lehigh in December 1989
and I worked at the
Intense Pulsed Neutron Source at
Argonne National Lab during the spring and summer, before heading off to graduate
school. I finished my PhD in theoretical elementary particle physics
at Cornell in May 1995. My thesis was
Non-Perturbative Methods: HQET and Lattice Gauge Theory.
Like many theorists, I then sought employment at a bank. I worked at
BNP/Cooper Neff, Inc.
in the interest rate derivatives research group for four years, before leaving
to start my own company, Hot Neuron LLC.
If you are looking for the PStream C++ library that I wrote
in 1991 for launching a process in Unix and communicating
with it through pipes, you can download it by
